Seven years ago at this time we were in Florida visiting all of our favourite things at Disney. It was an amazing trip that I will never forget. Admittedly, this is one of my favourite pictures I took on that trip!

| Do I have something on my head? |
This little lizard traveled all over with me. Some of my fondest memories are riding on a Greyhound bus with her sitting on my lap watching the world pass by. Chameleons are tricky pets, but they are so worth it. They truly are amazing and a lot of fun!
Sometimes I feel like everything I work hard for gets taken away from me too soon. My love life, my home life, pets and my dream car.
Some people dream of driving something like a Ferrari or a Porsche. For me, it's always been the VW Beetle. This picture goes back to the summer of 2009 when I had to say goodbye ( http://www.evilflu.com/2009/06/rip-benny-030209-062909.html) to my very first car, "Benny".
This is a very fitting Throwback Thursday because this afternoon I am going to the car lot to pick up Benny's little sister, Betty.
This day has been brought up a lot lately.
Most of the times I remember the happy times.
Sometimes the sad parts have to be explained.
I guess the morale of the story is things don't always go the way you plan.
The best thing to do is dust yourself off and learn from it.
That's what makes life exciting
and so worth it.

Come and shop at the Barbie clothes emporium under my grandparents table. I used to love playing under there - probably because I was usually not far from my grandma. She was my best customer. One time I ate what I thought was a paint chip under that table only I think it was my grandpa's heart pill because I remember my heart beating really really fast after I ate it. Don't ask why I ate paint. I was a strange little kid.
Something you probably didn't know about me: When I was little (maybe I was like 12...so not so little), I wanted to grow up to be a cat photographer. Our cat had kittens and I was like Jackpot! I shoved their furry little bodies into doll clothes and posed them with cat toys. The most spectacular thing was that this was pre-digital camera days. That meant you had 24 chances to get the perfect cat pose and then you had to pay lots of money down at the Shoppers Drug Mart and wait a week to get them developed. Boy how the times have changed. My cats are lucky I don't dress them in doll clothes. I may have been on to something there.
